Would the LP and DM protocol interact with MilbeGuard a heartworm preventative? thank you

I have a 12 1/2 y/o intact male Great Pyr was diagnosed GOLPP and possibly Degenerative Myelopathy last year. Been giving him your LP and DM protocol and some suggested supplements (elk velvet, respiratory tonic(rotated with mycodog breath), mycodog clarity, NOW Acetyl L-Carnitine 500mg 2x/day, NAC 1000mg 2x/day(every other day), Mercola Spirugreen(rotated with Phyto Synergy or Turkey Tail or Mycodog Vitality), Cosequin with MSM and HA 2 tabs/day (divided), Saw Palmetto, NOW CoQ10 200mg 1x/day, gum rescue, daily oral care, borage oil and FeelGood Omega(Dr. Dobias)). Bought the systemic enzyme, colostrum, turmeric but haven't use them yet. Also tried the whey protein isolate on 8/2024 seems like it didn't go well with his stomach (threw up right away-he's very sensitive since he was a puppy), might try again but very little amount because of weakened/atrophied back legs. He gets his 1 mile walk at night when it's not too hot. BTW, what's the shelf life of your whey protein isolate opened since last year stored in a ziploc bag room temperature. Last week he had his routine well senior check up, found out that his BUN and Creatinine level are mildly elevated which never happened before and also on his urinalysis the specific gravity was highlighted. SDMA and Phosphorus are at normal level. The vet suggested urine recheck first urine in the morning in addition to collecting 2-3 random urine samples different times. Also blood recheck in 3-4 wks. I'm giving him gently cooked dog food from Goodness Gracious.
The question I wanted to ask was if the protocols and supplements I'm giving will be safe to give or interact with Milbeguard heartworm preventative. I'm worried if I stop the protocol/s for a day or 2 so I can give the heartworm preventative, his condition will get worse. It's so hard to see him struggling getting up, knuckling and hacking/coughing. After I give HW preventative, I give liver tonic(adored beast) for 7-14 days. I noticed on some of the ingredients in your protocol have the same ingredients from the liver tonic I'm giving, is it ok to give both?. It's a lot and overwhelming, wondering if I'm overdoing it with all the supplements he's taking. I apologize for the long msg and thank you so much for all you do and for the reply in advance. Tom, there is a lot here and too much for this question and answer format. A few answers - the whey protein will last at least two years and longer if kept dry at room temperature. The gradual loss of kidney function is a normal sign of aging kidneys at your dog's age and not unusual. Provide the heartworm medication two hours away from any herbal remedies/supplements to be on the safe side and that will be fine. It is not unusual to try everything to help a pet, but it can be overdone and I feel you are giving too many things. This can confuse the body and put extra stress on the liver and kidneys.
