This is because the nutrients in Biopreparation are in a natural form that is not highly concentrated as in many vitamin supplements. However, let me just make you aware that vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that if taken in excess can cause more harm than good. This is because it is stored in fat and can accumulate in the body. The RDI (recommended daily intake) for adults is 22.5 IU of vitamin E per day and this is easy to reach when eating a varied diet that includes nuts and seeds or their oils. The amount of vitamin E you are giving your dog is 546 IU daily. That is quite a lot and doesn't include what is found in your dog's food if your are feeding a commercial pet food (typically they use alpha-tocopherol). Vitamin E supplements are generally considered to be unnecessary unless your dog has been tested and found to be deficient in this vitamin.
